Kentucky
Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Coffee Tree Rd. off KY 676., Frankfort,
KY. Unique memorial with the names of 1,062 Kentuckians killed in Vietnam etched
in the granite plaza. The giant sundial's shadow touches each name on the anniversary
of their death. The names of the 22 missing veterans are behind the sundial so

Corvette
Museum, Across the street from the General Motors Corvette Assembly
Plant, this museum houses one of the original 300 Corvettes built in 1953 and
the 1 millionth Corvette produced. The Corvette was introduced at the General
Motors 'Motorama' show in New York City in 1953. Since that time, new models like
the Sting Ray have been introduced. The Corvette was selected to be the Indianapolis
500 Pace Car in 1978 and 1998. Open daily 8am-6pm in April through September.

Kentucky History Center, 100 W. Broadway., Frankfort,
KY. Follow the phenomenal journey from prehistoric Kentucky to our present-day
Commonwealth on a chronological walk through time. The center is also home to
the Kentucky Historical Society's genealogical research & collections library,

Capitol
Floral Clock, located behind State Capitol, Frankfort, KY. Giant clock
with 34 ft. face. Unique in that it does not lie flat but is tilted above a reflecting
pool and fountain, supported by its 100 ton planter. Over 20,000 plants used in

The
Kentucky Horse Park, Iron Works Pk., Lexington, KY. Like no other place
and a must see on a vist to Kentucky. The park honors horses and their relationship
to man. Horses are celebrated via a spectacular film, various horse shows, a walking

Keeneland Race Track, Versailles Rd., Lexington,
KY. This National Historic Landmark was established in 1936 and is one of the
world's premier thoroughbred tracks. Formal dining available in four dining rooms.

Waveland
State Historic Site, US 27 South, Lexington, KY. Greek Revival manor
house started in 1844 by the grand-nephew of Daniel Boone. 10 acre grounds. Furnished

Camp Nelson Heritage Park, US 27, 5 mi. S. of Nicholasville,
KY. Union Army Civil War supply depot & training camp. White House, c. 1850,
